Ventilation and air quality, done right

Condensation, stale air and weak fans usually mean your home isn't ventilating properly. We find the cause and fix it.

Air in, air out, the way it should be

Four kinds of work, one goal: air that moves where it should and moisture that leaves the building.

HRV & ERV systems Heat recovery ventilators bring in fresh air without throwing away the heat. Installation, balancing, cleaning and repair.
Bathroom & kitchen exhaust Properly sized, properly vented fans that actually clear the steam, and not into the attic where it becomes a mould problem.
Ductwork repair & sealing Leaky, crushed or badly routed ducts waste the heating you paid for. We repair, seal and re-route so every room gets its share.
Filtration & air quality Better filters, right-sized returns and humidity control. Fewer allergens, less dust, and air that doesn't feel heavy. Covered under our maintenance plans.

Signs your air isn't moving

  • Condensation on windows every winter morning
  • Bathrooms that stay steamy long after a shower
  • Stale or musty smell in closed rooms
  • Black spotting on ceilings or window frames
  • Dust building up faster than you can wipe it

Moisture problems compound. Book a service before the drywall pays for it.

Ventilation questions we hear a lot

What does an HRV actually do?

It swaps stale indoor air for fresh outdoor air continuously, recovering most of the heat on the way out. Fresh air without the open-window heating bill.

Why do my windows drip every winter?

Too much moisture, not enough air exchange. Cooking, showers and breathing add litres of water a day. If it can't leave, it condenses on the coldest surface you own.

Should my bathroom fan run all the time?

During and 20 to 30 minutes after a shower, yes. A timer switch makes that automatic. If it can't clear the mirror in that time, the fan is undersized or venting badly.

Do you clean out mould?

We fix the airflow problem that causes it. Serious remediation is a specialist's job, but without fixing ventilation first it always comes back.
